Maksuda Hosts An International Film Festival In Ireland

Multi-talented Irish actor and model Maksuda Akhter (Prioty) of Bangladeshi origin bagged another major accomplishment under her belt recently. This time she stole the spotlight as a host of a prestigious award ceremony of an International Film Festival in Ireland.

The Richard Harris International Film Festival (RHIFF), named after one of Ireland's most influential screen actors, celebrated its 10th anniversary this year in Limerick. The Former Ms Ireland and Ms Earth International Maksuda Akhter (Prioty) had the honour to host this year's award ceremony. Alongside Maksuda the ceremony was co-hosted by an Irish actor Stuart Mackey.

In a Facebook post, on her verified personal profile, Maksuda wrote, 'I am honored to host the award ceremony of such an International Film Festival. I would like to express my gratitude and thanks to the DIRECTOR of The Richard Harris International Film Festival, Mr. "Zeb Moore" and his members for putting their trust in me.'

The festival kicked off on Wednesday, October 26th, and lasted until Monday, October 31st in Limerick, Ireland. The festival was set to screen twelve feature films along with a short fiction and a documentary programme. The Academy Award winning filmmaker Kenneth Branagh was honoured with the inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award at the festival.

Maksuda is an established multipronged fashion icon as a successful model, pilot, writer, actress and mother. Her recent accomplishment as a host of a prestigious award ceremony brightens her success stories even further.
