Amitabh Reza Chowdhury's film 'Rickshaw Girl' won the Filem'On Kids Award at the 16th International Film Festival For Young Audiences in Brussels. The Bangladesh Embassy in Brussels has informed this information and has congratulated director Amitabh Reza Chowdhury for achieving this feat.

According to the Bangladesh Embassy in Brussels, the film directed by Amitabh Reza Chowdhury tells the story of Naima, a talented girl from rural Bangladesh who hopes to beautify the city with her Alpana paintings. When her father falls seriously ill, Naima is forced to take on the role of breadwinner for the family. The film explores the world of the rickshaw industry. The film also tells the story of the power that challenges women's emancipation in Bangladesh while portraying the daily struggles of a young, ambitious and independent teenager.
Amitabh Reza Chowdhury thanked the organizers for supporting Bangladeshi art and culture.
The Brussels Film Festival was held from October 26 to November 5. More than 120 films from various countries including Europe were screened at the festival.
