However, the adjective 'Priyadarshini' has been used with Moushumi's name in the film industry for a long time. Yet this new addition of Purnima, added another dimension.
Husband and actor Omar Sani uses the word 'Priyadarshini' a lot on social media.
According to Purnima, there is no other Priyadarshini in the country except Moushumi.
Movie fans and netizens also do not disagree with Purnima's opinion. But some express their interest in keeping Purnima in that list as well. Today is actress Moushumi's birthday. On this day, Purnima posted several pictures on her Facebook handle.
She also wrote, 'Happy birthday, Moushumi Apu. Happy birthday to the dear person and the dear face to all of us. The only Priyadarshini of Bangladesh.'

Moushumi was born on November 3, 1973 in Khulna district of Bangladesh. Moushumi's father's name is Najmuzzaman Moni and mother's name is Shamima Akhtar Zaman. She started her career as an actress and singer from a young age.
She then won the 'Ananda Bichitra Photo Beauty Contest', based on which she appeared in various television commercial programs in 1990. Moushumi made her film debut with Salman Shah's 'Keyamat Theke Keyamat'.
After returning from the shooting for the film 'Antore Antore' from the island of St. Martin, a relationship began with Omar Sani which then slowly turned to romance.
On August 2, 1995, she got married to actor Omar Sani. They have a son Fardin and a daughter Faizah.
