Dhaka's film industry's power couple, Shariful Raj and Pori Moni, recently celebrated their child's 5-month birthday on January 10 with an intimate cake-cutting ceremony at home. The festivities continued as they ushered in the Eid holiday.
On this auspicious occasion, Raj gifted Pori Moni a generous salami of one lakh taka, which she used to visit Kolkata. During her trip, she indulged in purchasing her favorite makeup products with the salami money. In addition, she brought back a thoughtful collection of gifts for Raj, including a diary, notebook, pen, and some cinema-related books.
The couple's love story began while working together on the film 'Gunin,' directed by Giasuddin Selim. Shariful Raj first gained attention last year for his role in the web film 'Out of Network.' His debut film, 'Ice Cream,' was followed by 'No Dorai,' which brought him further recognition. Subsequently, he starred in the successful films 'Hawa' and 'Paran,' generating even more buzz around his name.
Raj's web film 'Gunin' also garnered attention, as it featured both him and Pori Moni sharing the screen.
