The Korean movies 'The Age of Shadow', 'The Dude in Me' and the animated film 'Underdog' have gained quite a reputation. Now these movies will be seen in Dhaka.
The festival started on Wednesday (November 2) in the main auditorium of the Bangladesh National Museum. State Minister for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid was present as the chief guest at the opening ceremony at 5 pm. At that time, the State Minister said, 'Like other countries, Korean cinema has a huge audience in our country. The way Korea has been helping us since independence is truly memorable. This country is also fighting for mother tongue like us. I hope this film festival will be successful.'

At the end of the opening ceremony, the film 'Scape from Mogadishu' was screened. A total of five films will be screened in this three-day festival. The festival will run till Friday (November 4). The Director General of the National Museum Md. Kamruzzaman and the South Korean Ambassador to Bangladesh Lee Jang-keun were present at the opening ceremony.
