Pantha Kanai has a career in music spanning three decades. He is a musician and singer. His last surprise was seen in 'Coke Studio Bangla'. However, at this stage of his career, this professional artist is appearing with a brand-new surprise.
Pantha Kanai is acting for the first time and it's starting with a full-length film. The name of the film is 'Dahokal'. Directed by Moin Hasan Dhrubo. In addition to Pantha Kanai, Tasnia Farin and Yash Rohan of 'Swapnojal'-'Poran' is one of the majors characters.
Pantha Kanai said, "The work of the film has already started a while back. But my part is running now. This is the first-time experience in acting. That too is a full-length movie. All together it's an exciting acting experience."
In the movie Pantha Kanai stars as the owner of an ad agency. Farin, on the other hand, is a model. Basically, the story of 'Dahokal' is put together with various incidents between the agency head and the model.
Sharing the first acting experience, Pantha Kanai said, "I was very nervous at first. Later, with the courage and bullying of the director, I tried. Then I found that I was doing well. Finished the shots one after another with applause from the unit. Many were saying, I am a professional actor. After hearing this, I regained confidence. I am thinking, from now on I will be acting regularly along with singing. It's quite interesting."
Apparently, the shooting of 'Dahokal' is now half way through. A theatrical release is planned for the first half of the coming year.
