A glitzy red carpet event was the perfect place for some of India's biggest stars to shine, and that's exactly what happened at the Goa International Film Festival. Nusraat Faria and Chanchal Chowdhury were among the talented performers who strutted their stuff for the cameras, showcasing their impressive style and flair. Fans and industry insiders were especially excited to see Nusraat, who made a splash with her gorgeous saree and traditional Bengali outfit. Her film 'Patalghar' also garnered attention, cementing her status as a true rising star. All in all, it was a night to remember for everyone involved in the film industry.

On Friday (September 25), 'Patalghar' graced international audiences with its debut. Director Noor Imran Mithu's second film, the plot highlights a mother-daughter relationship while also capturing actor Chanchal Chowdhury in traditional Bengali attire as he stepped onto the red carpet wearing an eye-catching green Punjabi ensemble.

Not only did Chanchal and Nusraat Faria grace the red carpet, but fellow actress Afsana Mimi joined in on the fun too! On the same day, Ghiyas Uddin Selim's 'Pap Punya' was also featured at the festival, starring the talented Afsana Mimi and Chanchal Chowdhury, alongside a star-studded cast including Siam Ahmed, Mamunur Rashid, Farzana Chumki, Shahnaz Sumi, and Fazlur Rahman Babu. Akram Khan's 'Nakshi Kanthar Zamin,' produced by Farzana Munni under the TM Films banner, also made waves as it received a government grant for the fiscal year 2018-19. Jaya Ahsan held her own as the lead in this exciting venture.

The bustling Goa International Film Festival is currently underway, celebrating its 53rd year with a wide range of films from all over the world. This exciting event kicked off on November 20 in India, and will be coming to a close on November 28 - but not without a few more noteworthy films to be shown! Two incredible Bangladeshi films were showcased at this year's festival: 'Santao' and 'Nakshi Kanthar Zamin.' Out of the two, 'Santao' directed by Khandkar Suman, is a compelling portrayal of the daily struggles of underprivileged individuals. Esteemed actors Ainun Putul and Fazlul Haque brought the film to life, making it a must-see at the festival.
