'Our film has been nominated for the competition for the first time on behalf of Bangladesh for this prize which started in 1994,' Jaya said in a post expressing joy at the development. My happiness is made all the more unique by the fact that the Nakshikathar Jamin, in which I performed, is based on the novel of adored author Hasan Azizul Haque. It features a female lead and is set around the time of our great Liberation War.
During the 2018–19 fiscal year, the government granted 'Nakshikathar Jamin' a grant. The 53rd iteration of IFFI will take place in Goa, India, from November 20 to 28. On November 25, at 9 am, the movie will be shown in Inox Panjim Auditorium 1.
