Jannatul Ferdous Snigdha, an upcoming starlet of this generation, is making her debut on the big screen through the movie 'Sonar Char.' Directed by Jahid Hossain, the film stars popular actor Zayed Khan alongside Snigdha. Film veterans Omar Sani and Moushumi also play notable roles in the movie. After wrapping up 'Sonar Char,' Snigdha has worked in another film titled 'Subarnabhumi,' based on the Liberation War, produced by the same team. Here, her co-star is small screen heartthrob Abdun Noor Sajal.
These two films showcase the young actress's central roles, as she brings new energy to the Dhallywood industry. Currently, both films are awaiting release, with one set to mark her grand entrance into the world of cinema.
The exciting news is that Snigdha has recently signed her third film, 'Papi,' directed by Sultan Mojumdar. In this movie, she will be acting opposite popular actor Shyamol Mawla, marking their first collaboration.
A thrilled Snigdha shared, "I'm playing the character Papri in the film, which is based on an action-thriller plot. Papri is a brave girl with a haunting past that constantly torments her. Her life is a struggle, leading her astray due to external influences. The story takes an unexpected turn – you'll have to visit the cinema to find out more. But I can reveal that the storyline and character have an element of surprise. I hope audiences will positively accept my first film with Shyamol Bhai and my third career film. I am striving to do my best."
It is known that the shooting for 'Papi' will commence on June 15 in Ramganj, Lakshmipur. The plan is to wrap up the film in one go. Other prominent actors such as Shatabdi Wadud and Maftuha Jannat Jim are also part of the film's ensemble cast.
In addition to her film work, Snigdha is regularly acting in music videos and dramas. The actress is optimistic about her two unreleased films. In Snigdha's words, "The producers have put a lot of care into making these two films. You'll see me in two distinct roles in them. Both films are set to be released in theatres very soon."
