As part of its 10-year anniversary celebration, the Asian Institute of Media and Communication Bangladesh (AIMC) has embraced the "Bangladesher Nari Cholochitro Nirmatader Cholochitro Projojona" programme. "Muntasir" is the first production in this year-long programme.

"Muntasir" is a narrative about the sex abuse of men and boys and fights against gender inequality. While we usually refer to women or girls being subjected to sexual harassment or assault, there is more reality than that. Men also confess to torturing in addition to women. Nobody has the courage to speak up in public. In the "Muntasir" narrative, we seek to comprehend men as individuals. Men endure trauma and sexual harassment just as women do. The tale of sexual harassment in "Muntasir" shows no regard for gender.
