What kind of character will you be seen in, in the new movie?

Neelanjona Neela: I am playing a very different type of character. Usually, this type of character is rarely seen around us. I am playing the role of a girl of a Zamindar family. The royal thing in this character is the girl's intelligence. The girl speaks very little. But whatever she says is well thought out. I have not worked in this kind of character before. So, it was challenging for me. During the shooting, a sense of interest and affection grew in me towards the character. That's why I really enjoyed it altogether.

Can you give more details about the name of the film, the director?

Neelanjona Neela:Since nothing can be said about the movie officially yet. I want the announcement to come directly from the director himself. So I don't want to share anything beyond that. Let the rest be a surprise.

How long was the shooting and where?

Neelanjona Neela: A zamidar house in Tangail and several scenes in the Sundarbans. Worked for 20 to 25 days.

Do you recall any memories of shooting?

Neelanjona Neela: More importantly than the memory of the shooting, I was immersed into the character. I kept wanting to learn more from the director several times and how to do it or how it can be done better. I also took pauses  between shootings to understand the character better. Because I tried everything necessary to portray the character well. On days when I wasn't shooting, I read the script, tried to sail the boat. All for the needs of the character of that movie.

Besides, I am working on a new drama series called 'Zharer Pakhi' directed by Mahmud Hasan Rana Bhai. I am the storm bird. It is a story about the problems a girl has to face to survive in the city. A great story. Loved working in it.

What kind of stories do you want to work on?

Neelanjona Neela: I don't want to do traditional characters. I want to come in front of the audience with a different character out of good girl, love and marriage.

What do you do when there is no shooting?
